Tips to help you score 400 in OET Writing for the UK Foundation Programme

It's that time of year again when many of you are applying for your UK Foundation Programme entry.


Even though you may be British, or come from a very strong English speaking background, it can sometimes be hard to move past that 370 - 380 - 390 barrier.


In our latest video we look at why this might be. We'll use examples to take a look at some common mistakes that may be holding you back. The letters themselves would be fine for a normal B, but not quite good enough for a 400 mark.


Some things we'll focus on are the order of importance, focusing on the reader's job, and deciding what is useful additional information and what can be left out.


We'll see what might be going wrong and how you can fix it!
